Bethesda has made an official announcement regarding The Elder Scrolls Online. It’s a pretty big one, too.
In a similar style to Guild Wars, TESO is now subscription-less with the sub-title “Tamriel Unlimited”. Simply pay for the game up front, and the entirety of the game world (something amounting to six content updates) is yours to explore and dominate. There are still bonus accounts offered (now called “Plus”), however, which is what you’ll be lumped into if you are currently enrolled in a TESO subscription. The new Plus account will give you access to all DLC, in-game crowns that are redeemable for items in the Crown Store, and a 10% bonus to crafting research, gold, inspiration, and XP.
