In 2003, writer Brian Wood and artist Becky Cloonan joined forces for Demo, a miniseries that took a very human look at superpowers in a more grounded world. Over the course of 12 standalone issues, ordinary people had to come to grips with their new superhuman abilities and figure out where they fit into the world.
Seven years later, Wood and Cloonan brought Demo back for another six issue run. But now Dark Horse Comics is publishing the first ever complete trade paperback of Wood and Cloonan’s Demo that features all 18 issues of the series.
Ahead of Demo’s release on Wednesday. April 1, Dark Horse has provided CraveOnline with an eight page preview from the trade paperback as a young girl named Marie reluctantly demonstrates her new powers to her friend, Mike.
