After two years of development, AMC is finally ready to reveal the title of the highly anticipated “companion series” for The Walking Dead.
Via a report in Variety, the name of the spinoff series is Fear The Walking Dead. Series co-creator Robert Kirkman made the initial announcement on twitter and added: “IT’S OFFICIAL! The walking dead companion show on AMC is called FEAR THE WALKING DEAD! Expect more news very soon!”
Fear The Walking Dead takes place in Los Angeles during the earliest days of the zombie outbreak depicted in The Walking Dead. The series stars Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey.
