General Manager Of Visceral Games Leaving EA

The man who was in charge over at Visceral Games, Steve Papoutsis, alas no longer shall he claim that title, as his ship is setting sail after fifteen years with Electronic Arts. He worked on the Dead Space series, and he also had a hand in the launch of Battlefield: Hardline.

Scott Probst, son of long-time EA veteran and President Larry Probst (’90-’97), will be stepping in as General Manager. Naturally, EA wished Papoutsis the best and thanked him for his contributions. Will this bring about any changes to Visceral Games’ direction or future content? We’re not sure, but here’s hoping it at least doesn’t affect anything negatively.

Thanks to Crave’s Game Revolution for this update.
