Police Share Photos Of NRL Bottle-Throwing Suspects

New South Wales Police have released images of the 13 NRL fans who are suspected of throwing bottles and other items at players and officials following the Canterbury Bulldogs loss to the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on Good Friday.

The incident kicked off after a disputed call was made by a referee against the Bulldogs’ James Graham, which led to an 18-17 Souths victory and some pretty angry Canterbury fans. An official suffered a fractured shoulder blade as they tried to dodge bottles being thrown from the crowd.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident or the people in the newly released images to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Police are also seeking photos or videos from the incident, especially those shot near the tunnel on the western side of ANZ Stadium. Digital files can be uploaded to Crime Stoppers anonymously at the NSW Police website.

Fines and a ban from Sydney Olympic Park are on the cards for anyone found to have been involved in the incident. View photos of 11 of the fans, below.
