Australia’s beloved children’s program “Play School“ is known for being fun, friendly and educational, but the program has copped some cheeky praise after the internet realised the show accidentally taught kids how to make something which looks a helluva lot like a homemade bong.
An old Play School craft segment which shows hosts Alex Papps and Rachael Coopes feeding a straw into the bottom of a plastic bottle has gone viral this week. Here’s footage of the segment in question:
Since the video started doing the rounds, social media has been busting out top-notch reactions left and right, from the concerned…

Over on Reddit is where the real fun went down, with one genius Redditor posting, “In the ning nang nong where the cows smoke bongs,” and another calling for a government inquiry to be launched into the matter.
Redditor eateggs had a different approach, posting, “Let’s look through the round window! ‘Nah mate cbf,'” while PointOfFingers rewrote Play School’s script a bit, saying:
“Next up Big Ted and Gemima are going to the convenience store to buy snacks.”
“I have cut a circle in this red felt and now Big Ted has red around his eyes.”
“Let’s all hop in this cardboard car and drive erratically to the shop.”
Never change, internet. Never change.
