The OvRcharge levitating phone charger looks set to be one of the more unique smartphone accessories on the market, causing your smartphone to hover above its charging station by way of magnetic suspension.
The charger uses invisible magnetic fields in order to suspend itself in mid-air, giving off the impression that it’s levitating. It also rotates the smartphone as it’s charging, providing another visual trick that may not be of any benefit to your device, but will at least serve as a pretty impressive talking point.
The OvRcharge will stop charging your phone when its battery is full, but the device will continue to spin until you pull it away from the charging station. It does all of this wirelessly, with the standard model able to output 500mAh while OvRcharge Ultra outputs 700mAh, making it ideal for charging tablets.
The OvRcharge utilizes a special charging case, which includes an electricity receiver and a magnet in order for your device to charge without the use of cables and to allow it to levitate. The OvRcharge is currently available to back on Kickstarter, with the estimated delivery date of the product set for December 2016. The charger is available for a special early bird price of $209, with it expected to eventually retail for $239.
