Even in Norway, It’s Illegal to Destroy Your Brother’s House With a Forklift

I once punched my brother for throwing a basketball at me and rubbed his toothbrush against a bar of soap for being an asshole.

But a man in Norway has been sentenced to 14 months in prison for demolishing his brother’s house with a forklift.

His reason? He heard a rumor that his older brother was thinking of knocking down a house on family property that he wanted to live in.

Of course, it’s pretty hard to build up the stones necessary to rip down a family member’s house with a forklift without getting hammered, so on top of the jail sentence and a $164,000 fine, the 53-year-old Norwegian lunatic was sentenced to a five-year driving ban for fleeing the scene in a car while intoxicated.

Even crazier, this isn’t the first time one of these brothers has received jail time for attacking the other. In 2012, the same brother spent ten months watching his back in the showers after he attacked his brother with a pick in an argument over the same damn house.

So, even though it’s taken us almost 20 years, we’ve finally found a pair of brothers more batshit crazy than the Gallagher brothers of Oasis.
