Cocktail Recipes: 2014 Winter Olympics Edition

It’s pretty cold and miserable throughout much of the country right now, but at least the Winter Olympic Games start tonight. Even though it seems like Sochi is doing everything they can to embarrass themselves, it will still be fun to watch the top Olympians of the winter sports compete for gold. And thankfully, the folks at Jim Beam have provided us with a couple delicious whiskey cocktail recipes that will make for a perfect viewing companion this weekend. Stir ’em up, enjoy, and go Team USA!

GOING FOR THE GOLD

Ingredients:

1 part Jim Beam® White

1/2 part Peach Schnapps

1 part Lemon Lime Soda

2 parts Orange Juice

Preparation:

Combine ingredients with ice in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with an orange slice.

HONEY WHITE AND BLUE

Ingredients:

2 parts Jim Beam® Honey

1 part Blue Curacao

2 parts White Cranberry Juice

Juice of one half Lime

Preparation:

Shake all but the Curacao and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Slowly pour the Curacao against the inside of the glass so that it sinks to the bottom. Garnish with a strawberry.
