Notorious street artist Lushsux created a fresh new mural of divisive One Nation Senator Pauline Hanson earlier this week, but he’s now given it an incredible update.
The new version of the mural (supposedly in Windsor, New South Wales) now depicts Hanson wearing a hijab, and Lushsux has explained the change in his latest Instagram post.
“Some of the locals in Windsor complained about the portrait of Pauline Hanson, go figure. Had to bow to the pressure and make it a more tolerant and progressive mural work as usual,” he says.
Lushsux’s incredible murals have become increasingly prominent, including his recent images depicting Donald Trump and some previous efforts involving Taylor Swift & Kanye West and Kanye West’s controversial ‘Famous’ music video.
