I own a pair of white Converse and I have somehow managed to keep them pretty clean — but that’s only because I prefer staying indoors and when I head outdoors I don’t go anywhere that will lead to my sneakers ending up completely filthy. But for some people their white kicks can end up looking pretty dirty and terrible after a while. But have no fear because one lady has a hack to make your dirty kicks looks brand new again.
A Twitter user known as Halloween Queen has gone viral after sharing a before and after photo of her white Converse. The before photo looks like her sneakers after burying her feet in mud and the after photo looks like she just bought a new pair.

Well damn, they look like a brand new pair. But how did this gal get her shoes looking like this again? Well according to her all it takes is this:
“Mix 1:1.5 of baking soda and detergent, scrub with toothbrush, let it sit for a while, rinse, put in washer, baby powder and dry.”

That seems like a lot of work, but hey, it beats handing out $60 for a new pair. And of course people on Twitter were chiming in with their reactions, some positive and negative.
