In a world where Americans have become softer than marshmallows, it’s nice to see a mother north of the border taking her shitty kids and doing whatever it takes to straighten them out.
According to Metro, a mother in Harrow, Ontario recently made her two bratty kids walk more than four miles to school after she got a report from their school administrators that they were being “bad and rude” to their bus driver, but she first made them hold up a cardboard sign explaining why they were being punished.
After snapping a picture of her two little “darlings” holding the sign, she uploaded it to her Facebook page along with a message that read, “My boys have been bad for their bus driver and I got a call from the school yesterday that drew a line for me! So this morning we did a 7km walk to show them what everyday will be like for them when they kicked off the bus. Shit just got real for them. 2 hours later they made it.”
But shit didn’t get real enough for one of her boys, so she made him do the walk once again the following day. He finally got the gist of it after that one, but the fact that it took him more than eight miles of walking through Canada in winter to get it means that we probably won’t be seeing him in any advanced teaching classes anytime soon.
