The last time I was inside a Dunkin’ Donuts it was because I had a gift card and I just had to use it. So of course I got myself a glazed donut that wasn’t too terrible. So yes, I call that a success. But now, Dunkin’ Donuts has decided to do the unthinkable: they’ve created Donut Fries.

According to GrubStreet, Dunkin’ has really been trying to revamp their menu and get folks excited about their doughnuts again. So it looks like Donut Fries is the route they’ve taken to accomplish that. An important note: last month Taco Bell announced that their nacho fries were the biggest-ever product launch, so perhaps Dunkin’ wants to get on this boat.

At the moment the Donut Fries can only be had by folks in Boston (because they sure love their Dunkin’ Donuts)

And even though they are sure to cause a few hard attacks out there in Boston, people are still messing their pants over it:

If I’m going to clog my arteries I think I’ll go the churro route instead. What do you think of these Donut Fries? Would you give them a shot?
