Taco ‘Bout a Dream Job: Food Delivery Service Hiring Chief Taco Officer, Taste-Testers Apply Here

Do you love tacos? Stupid question. Of course you love tacos. Who doesn’t love a taco? Well, now you could turn your love of that quintessential Mexican food into a job!

Favor Delivery, an on-demand delivery service based in Texas, has a delicious and lucrative position open. It’s looking for a Chief Taco Officer. While this is a temporary position taking place over two summer months, the salary is a respectable $10,000!

Unfortunately (probably) for you, the job is only open to Texans, and the company only needs to hire one person for this position. That lucky foodie gets to travel all over the great state of Texas to taste-test tacos. (Taco ‘bout a dream job, right?)

But that’s not all! In addition to free grub, this lucky employee will have accommodations and transportation paid for. They will also partake in wellness activities like yoga classes and massages (because taste-testing tacos is such a stressful job). And when the working day is done, they don’t even have to cook because they’ll get free Favor delivery for a year and they can skip the laundry because they’ll get custom company swag, too (which we assume means T-shirts).

“Tacos are one of the top favored foods across all of the cities we serve throughout Texas,” Favor CEO Jag Bath said in a press release. “The history and culture behind one of the most iconic foods in the Lone Star State vary from city to city, and we’re excited for our new Chief Taco Officer to discover some of the best and most authentic tacos out there.”

If by chance you are 21 or over and live in the Lone Star State, go ahead and apply before May 12 by posting a brief video explaining why you’re the best candidate on TikTok or Instagram according to these guidelines.

As for the rest of us, we’ll just spend the summer eating tacos like it’s our job.
