Top 10 Cannabis Influencers You Should Be Following on Social

Welcome to the rise of the influencer where regular, everyday nobodies dedicate their free time to gaining loyal audiences by becoming experts in a specific niche, like cannabis influencers. Not only do they have the coolest jobs on Earth, but they get most of their products for free. Obviously, there’s more to being a cannabis influencer than getting free weed. It’s actually a delicate combination of testing new products, giving tips related to marijuana, and generally creating fun content to keep other stoners entertained.

Of course, not anyone can become an influencer, but the ones who do really know their stuff. However, rather than making you look for answers by Googling “cannabis influencers,” we did the work for you. This list is a compilation of our favorite 420 experts to help you learn more about the marijuana leaf and what kind of products to expect as more states legalize it.

Zoe Wilder is absolutely one of our favorite follows in the 420 space. To narrow down what Zoe does cheapens her involvement with cannabis, but she’s equal parts artist, publicist, friend, advocate, and 100% a renaissance woman. Her firm reps some of the biggest names in marijuana and if there’s anything cool going on, she will post about it. A must-follow for tastemakers who need to be in the know.

@chrisudalla (TikTok)

Fun fact: We’d always rolled the worst blunts until we watched Chris Udalla’s tutorial. He combines knowledge and humor, resulting in one of the funniest accounts you’ll actually learn something from. For every TikTok he posts that’s just some funny stuff you’ll laugh at while high, there’s also something cool, and even mildly educational. Definitely worth a follow for making it as a TikTok weed influencer when TikTok doesn’t even allow the search of cannabis.

@highcityco (TikTok)

This is actually an account for the High City Co weed accessories in Chicago, but it’s also filled with hilarious TikToks that relate to life as a stoner. However, the High City Co products are the real star of the show in a way that’s not obnoxious. You’ve probably seen their LED Rolling Tray featured in Reels and TikToks. It’s a totally rad piece of cannabis accouterment you’ll have to have once you see it.

@gabrus (Instagram)

These days you might know Gabrus, better known as John Gabrus, for being Adam Pally’s wild, party-boy friend on 101 Places to Party Before You Die. In addition to flexing his party persona for TrueTV, he also runs the incredibly hilarious High and Mighty podcast, where he, you guessed it, gets high and talks shit. Gabrus always shares the latest cannabis products in his stories and is definitely a guy in the know. A great follow no matter how you put it.

Rachel Burkons considers herself to be a “bong vivant” and it’d be hard to argue against that label. Her Instagram account is a delight for the senses. We truly learn so much about the many, many ways we can make cannabis an even more decadent experience. However, it’s not all tips and tricks. Rachel also posts some of the most visually appealing images of cannabis products as well as reliable reviews.

To be honest, if you’re a real smoker, you should already be following the OG weed influencers, Cheech & Chong. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong are best known for the commercial and cultural success of their cannabis-related stand-up routines, studio recordings, and feature films. They’re the guys who normalized weed way, way back when. Plus, they still have a lot of prestige in the cannabis world and you should be following them.

Mike Glazer hosts the Weed and Grub podcast, but really, his involvement in the normalization of weed goes way back. However, this year he was awarded the High Times Most Influential Person in Cannabis award, which is only part of the reason he’s on this list. He’s also hilarious and one of the best people to look up for funny reviews, stories, and comedy bits.
