Samsung may be set to release its latest smartphone as early as next week, with reports claiming that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is ready for launch.
According to Sammobile, the new smartphone will be pushed by Samsung as a mid-range handset, so will not be placed within the same category with other releases in the manufacturer’s flagship Galaxy series such as the S5.
If the leaked images of the metal device are to be believed, then it will boast a 4.8-inch, 720p display, and rumour has it that it will also come with a built-in fingerprint scanner and 32GB of storage. According to Sammobile, the reasoning behind Samsung launching its closer before its project release of mid-August/September is to ensure that it doesn’t collide with the release of the Galaxy Note 4.
