Scotch comes off as a very serious spirit. It conjures up wood-lined bars, men in suits, women luxuriously smoking via a cigarette holder — an episodes of Mad Men motif. Smoky Laphroaig 10-Year-Old Scotch fits that image well.
But, depending on adventurous your recipe is, you can inject a little more fun into Scotch – even the very rich, Northern Scotland, peat moss-smoked taste of Laphroaig. To prove it, the distiller sent over this Suntanned Scotsman cocktail.

Laphroaig Suntanned Scotsman
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 parts Laphroaig 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
- 1 1/2 parts Pineapple Juice
- 1 1/2 parts Cranberry Juice
Preparation: Build over ice in a highball glass.
Garnish with a slice of pineapple on the rim.
