Perth’s First iPhone 6 Buyer Drops It On Live TV

A Perth Apple customer got his first official drop test out of the way early and in front of a national audience this morning, when he proudly presented his newly-purchased iPhone 6 to a Channel Nine camera crew, only to watch it fall to the ground seconds later.

After lining up, presumably for hours, at the Apple Store on Perth’s Hay Street, 18-year-old Jack Cooksey was introduced by the reporter as the first person in Perth to walk out of the store with the new iPhone 6 in his hands. Unfortunately it didn’t remain there for long.

Cooksey was amongst floods of customers who queued up in front of Apple stores across the country today, and all through last night, in an attempt to get their hands on the new Apple products.

Fear not though, the 18-year-old butterfingers has since tweeted that all is fine with his prized piece of technology. For fun, watch it all unfold below.
