Whether purists like it or not — whether they’re considered a legitimate mixologist weapon or a gimmicky way to sell more liquor — flavored spirits are here. Whether we’re looking at rum, vodka, gin, etc., we’ll still be getting more booze flavored with fruit, chocolate, pickles, Fritos and whatever else might be sitting around the distillery.
Seriously, flavored spirits can make tasty elements in the right cocktails if they’re well made and not over-sugared. El Jimador Tequila is in the flavor game with Mango Mango and Mexican Lime. They’re out on the market know on a slow build now, finding their ways into stores.
