T-Mobile has staged a pretty unique unboxing video, taking the Samsung Galaxy S7 underwater to show off the upcoming smartphone’s water-resistant design.
The newly announced smartphone, which was unveiled during the Samsung Unpacked event at the Mobile World Conference 2016, was put to the test by carrier T-Mobile in the marketing video, highlighting how the Korean tech giant’s new flagship smartphone can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes without being damaged.

The video doesn’t exactly reveal anything new about the device, with it simply showing T-Mobile product manager “Des” fiddling around with its headphones, micro USB charging cable and SIM card, but its highlighting of its waterproof design pushes one of Samsung’s most heavily marketed features of the device thus far.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are set to be launched on March 11th, with those who pre-order their smartphone before March 18th getting a free Gear VR virtual reality headset to boot.
