E3 2014: Code Name: Steam Screenshots and Box Art Released

Nintendo made it clear during the announcement for Code Name: Steam that no videos or screenshots would be released, but that’s quickly changed as several screenshots and even the game’s early box art are now on the web.

These first ever screenshots give you a good idea of what the game’s unique pixel art looks like. It’s a game that tries very hard to be unique, and its presentation is part of that. These images also put a face on the strategic gameplay detailed during its reveal.

While the visuals might not sit well with you, remember, this is a game being spearheaded by Shigeru Miyamoto. You know it’s going to be really good.
