I’m sure there are plenty of Tinder horror stories out there, some we’ve even shared with you folks before, but this story right here is pretty up there on the list of most bizarre Tinder stories we’ve heard recently.
A Redditor who goes by the name of Mouthymerc decided to meet up with a woman he met on Tinder. And well, things were apparently going well because she ended up back at his place where they hooked up. And usually this is the time where the gal either leaves that same day, or stays until the morning and exits, Well, not this gal.
Take a look at what this Redditor said:
“Help! Hooked up with this chick from tinder and she hasn’t left my house in 2 days .. have another date tomorrow fml.”
Yeah, that’s a problem. And here’s the woman whose name is Jennifer.

Oh it gets worse as this dude shared a bunch of updates in which he says that he confronted Jennifer and told her he thinks she might be homeless. Now his suspicions were probably accurate because Jennifer’s profile says “Owner at Self-Employed.” Which means she’s jobless. This dude then asked Jennifer to leave. Guess what? She didn’t.
Police were called and Jennifer ended up being arrested — it was then discovered that this gal had several outstanding warrants and had even stolen some of this dude’s stuff. Wow.
Another Redditor named bubonis was nice enough to list everything that occurred. Have at it:
“It was a pretty crazy and at times very stressful situation that truly has me rethinking the whole approach to dating and dating ‘apps.’ As well as myself,” Mouthymerc said.
Well, I guess it’s back to meeting people at bookstores and fruit stands.
