He may have a heart, but it looks like he also needed a brain this time around.
A few weeks ago we told you folks about a dude who was arrested while dressed up as the Joker. And while we can understand some dude committing crimes while dressed up as a classic villain, it’s a little baffling when someone breaks the law while dressed up like a harmless character. More specifically, the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz.
Nicolas Sherman was busted for driving drunk over the weekend by New York State Police. And while I’m sure that happens a lot, it’s how the 31-year-old was dressed that has folks buzzing.
That’s right, folks. Sherman was dressed as the Tin Man.
Sherman was busted after police got a call about an “intoxicated male on private property.” But why the hell was Sherman dressed like this classic character? Well according to Sherman he had just left a nearby business “where he was hired to portray a character from the Wizard of Oz.”
A nearby business? Dude, just say you got paid by some kid’s parent to perform at their birthday party.
Sherman was arrested for drunk driving, as he registered a blood alcohol content of .19, more than twice the legal limit. Whoops.
