Kite stars India Eisley (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”) as Sawa, a young girl orphaned after the brutal murder of her parents, taken in by her father’s former partner Samuel L. Jackson (you know damn well who he is) and trained to be an underage assassin. The film was set to be directed by David R. Ellis (Snakes on a Plane) until his unexpected passing in 2013, and now comes to you from director Ralph Ziman (Gangster’s Paradise: Jerusalema).
Kite will premiere exclusively on DIRECTV on August 28th, followed by a theatrical/VOD release on October 10th.
