Waterbed stopped by prior to their awesome set at TuneCore Live in Hollywood, California to discuss how they bring their magic to their live shows, along with revealing the process behind their appearance on the Nirvana covers compilation Teenage Angst Has Paid Off Well.
Waterbed ensured they’d have a tough challenge ahead of them when they opted to cover the mighty ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit,’ transforming the grunge sleeper hit into an electronic anthem in the process. The band also reveal the inspiration behind their name change, and how TuneCore benefits them as a band and allows them to “be their own band,” effectively cutting out the middle man and directly distributing their music to their fans.
