Instagram Hidden ‘Rejected’ Folder Shows Who’s Snubbed You, And Here’s How to Access It

Instagram is a fun way to kill time…when it doesn’t make you insanely jealous of other people or deathly insecure of your own worth. Now, the picture-sharing social media platform has one more way to make you feel like shit – with a hidden ‘reject’ folder.

If you’ve ever encountered a private Instagram account and sent a follow request to that user, you have one of these folders in the app. It’s where info on all the people who’ve ignored your follow request is stored.

Granted, this feature won’t tell you why you’ve been snubbed. Is the user simply not on Instagram all that much and never saw your request? Or did they see it and turn their nose up at you? We can’t tell you that, but we can direct you to this self-esteem-destroying secret.

To find it, go to your Profile, then choose Menu, followed by Settings. Tap Security and select Access Data. Scroll down until you find the Connections section. Click on Current Follow Requests, and viola! All the pending follow requests that haven’t been approved will appear.

So now you know who just “isn’t that into you” on Instagram. Now the question is: will you cancel your follow requests or wait, hope, and pray that they’re approved someday? Which option you choose says everything about you.
