Cross-promotion is nothing new, but never has a branding mash-up been so cloying. Cinnabon, that glorious maker of addictively delicious cinnamon buns, has joined forces with The Bachelor for a mouthwatering package you’ll want to put in your mouth (not that kind).
This special, limited-time-only offering is so sugary, it will give you cavities – and heart palpitations for reasons that have nothing to do with love at first sight.
It’s called the Fantasy Sweet Bundle, and for around $15, it includes two of those sinful, classic Cinnabon rolls and two cinnamon roll-flavored cold brew ice coffees. Cinnabon will even deliver the goodies right to your doorstep.
While this is really a better combo for the morning after, the PR powers that be insist it’s perfect for consuming while watching the new season of the long-running dating show.
Season 26 of the series premiered last night on ABC. A whopping 31 women showed up to try to win 28-year-old former football player Clayton Echard’s heart (or other body parts). Fans of the hot mess of a franchise will remember the hard-bodied stud as a reject from the recent Bachelorette season starring Michelle Young.
While Young sent Echard home rose-less on week six of her season, he apparently found love this time around.
“I was a little skeptical going into the whole journey, but I’m so pleasantly surprised that things worked out much different than I thought,” he told Good Morning America.
Good for you, man. Now you can veg out on your couch, getting fat and binge-watching bad TV with your special someone just like the rest of us.
